Why is it best to go "Natural"
Simple, Genesis 1:29-30 gives us evidence that Mother Nature has provided us with everything we need to sustain a healthy life. Just as our bodies respond best to natural ingredients, so does our skin. The cosmetic industry have gone wrong by creating products, etc... that are far from the original source. The driver for such measures is the desire to mass-produce products that will sustain a shelf life of 2 or more years. The most popular method is through the use of synthetics, primarily carcinogenic, preservatives which introduces toxins and all their potential negative side effects into our bodies. However, without some type of protection microorganisms would rapidly multiply and cause undesirable side effects. We believe that natural ingredients such as 100% pure essential oils,antioxidants, herbs, and botanicals can be used to successfully preserve skin care products for a reasonable amount of time (6 to 12) months without compromising the beneficial factors of the wholesome ingredients. Moisture Balance
70% of the human body is water. When skin is dehydrated, blood capillaries shrinks causing it to become dull and flaky. There are many reasons that the skin can become dehydrated: the surrounding air humidity, loss of body fluids, and poor diet.
The surrounding air humidity plays an important factor in skin hydration. High humidity regions are great for the skin because the skin will absorb the hydrogen and oxygen (water) from the air to help maintain regularity. On the other hand, low humidity regions causes skin to dehydrate. High sun exposure as well as extreme wintry conditions also causes skin dehydration.
Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water is also vital to keeping the skin hydrated. If you are one to heavily perspire, or is highly physically active, you are prone to skin dehydration. The only way to combat this loss is to drink plenty of water or juices. Note: Drinks that contain alcohol will also dehydrate the skin. Alcohol causes the body to retain water to protect the organs, muscles, and eye area from dehydration. In such case, the skin is secondary.
We have learned that hydration is key to protecting the skin from degeneration, which leads to premature aging and other skin disorders. We must also eat foods that are moisture rich. Juicy fruits and vegetables are essential to the moisture balance factor.
pH Balance
A chemist term, pH balance means "potential of hydrogen." The outer layer of the skin is slightly acidic, between 4.5 - 5.5., Our sweat--containing uric and lactic acids--and body oils promote this acidic environment.

A note about water: Water that contain heavy mineral such as a hight level of iron can damage the skin. This is know as "hard water."
Most soaps have a pH of 9-11, which is highly effective in killing bacteria, yet removes the natural protective barrier (acid-balance) of the skin that helps fight against bacteria growth. When this happens, the skin also becomes dehydrated creating an environment for irritation that leads to bacteria growth and a host of other ailments...
The best way to judge a good soap is to ask yourself the question...would I shampoo with it?

Daily skin care for the face and body
Our skin is unique and will require personalized daily care accordingly. The skin care regiment that works for you in the beginning may change as your skin improves or changes over-time. Of course, you must first start with the bare-essentials: cleans, tone, ex-foliate (unclog pores from dead skin cells and impurities), and hydrate (moisturize).
Your Face
Cleansing
Morning and night, use our "Facial Cleanser" to remove impurities with a clean, soft cloth or sponge. Apply cleanser in a circular motion, never drag downward on the skin. Slash rinsing with cold water and towel blotting helps to reduce micro tears to the skin.
Tone: (day time) and exfoliate (night time)
Use a clean cotton ball to apply our "Day Toner" in small circular motions. At night, apply our "Exfoliating Facial Masque" (2-10 minutes) slash rinse with cold water, blot dry with soft, clean towel.
Hydrate
Each night, use either our "Damage Control Night Repair Cream" or our "Vitamin-Rich Night Cream" to restore hydration. Dot the forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and temples, with the last two fingers of the hands, working in small circular motions until the entire face and neck is covered, avoiding the eye socket area. If the product does not absorb within 5 minutes, you’ve used too much.
Your Body
Cleansing
You can apply our "Beach-Body Cleanser" to an ex foliating device, such as a sea sponge, loofah, puff, etc... unless however, the skin shows signs of irritation or disease. If the latter is the case, you may cause further irritation or spread the disease, apply cleanser with your hands.
Exfoliate
You can exfoliate the skin over the body by wrapping it in our clarifying clay or by scrubbing down with our bath crystals. This can be done as often as needed.
Hydrate
After each bath or shower, always follow-up with our "Moisture-Rich Hand & Body Lotion" or creams, which should be applied while the skin is still moist, for fast absorption.
